The family of former Boston Bruin and New York Raider Bill Speer to travel to Boston for 40th anniversary of Stanley Cup Championship

(LINDSAY) Former NHLer and WHA pioneer Bill Speer may be gone, but to his family and his former Boston Bruins teammates he will never be forgotten.
Mr. Speer’s family, who still live in Lindsay, will travel to Massachusetts this Thursday (March 18) to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Bruins’ 1970 record-breaking Stanley Cup Championship. The Speers family will join Bruins alumni during an on-ice presentation and ceremonial puck drop before the current Boston Bruins takes on the Pittsburgh Penguins
