Former "Baby Bull" Rick Vaive has been charged with impaired driving in Vaughan,Ont., according to a report.
The 50-year-old faces a charge after a July arrest, according to court documents obtained by Global News.
Vaive was pulled over in the area of Hwy. 407 and Hwy. 427 after a concerned citizen reported seeing an impaired man get into a vehicle at Hwy. 7 and Pine Valley Dr. in Vaughan, Global reports.
Investigators told the TV station Vaive, who captained the Toronto Maple Leafs from 1981-1986, had been at a charity golf tournament on the day of his arrest. Vaive is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 23.
